St. Jude and Richmond Ford

On Friday, February 13, 2015, Richmond Ford opened their showroom to local country station K95 for the annual St. Jude Radiothon. St. Jude is a children’s research hospital that puts hope into families with children with life-threatening illnesses. The hospital is funded by donations so that children can get the care they need.

In addition to giving up the showroom for the radiothon, Richmond Ford is donating $50 for every car sold from mid-January through the day of the radiothon. The Ford dealership has been involved with raising money for St. Jude for eight years and has donated over $60,000.

Because of Richmond Ford’s work with charities – St. Jude’s is not the only charity the dealership works with – the dealership was recognized in Ford’s 2015 Salute to Dealers. Of the 3,100 Ford dealerships across the country only three were recognized for this award, including Richmond Ford.

According to Richmond Drives in an interview with Ron Kody, Kody stated that β€œSt. Jude does a wonderful job not only working with the patient, but they consider the patient the whole family.”

Richmond Ford is a favorite for local. Not only is the dealership involved in the community, but it also offers frequent discounts on new and used vehicles. President’s Day is coming up and the dealership is in the middle of its annual President’s Day promotion. You can get significant discounts on vehicles, plus you’ll find that financing options are highly competitive.

If you’re in the market for a new vehicle but are not sure what you want, stop by the dealership to test drive the vehicles that interest you so you are better able to choose the vehicle that is the perfect fit for your family. Look at the newly redesigned 2015 Ford F-150, the brand new Escape or even the sporty Mustang.

When you are test driving a vehicle, keep in mind that Richmond Ford is a business that cares about the community at large and doesn’t hesitate to put itself out to help well-known charities such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
